Dianna: ‘I create one of a kind necklaces and bracelets and beaded and wire wrapped earrings that are inspired by nature. I focus on creating combinations of colors and textures that I see in nature. I also get inspired by the beads I work with. I usually do not sketch out a design before hand, I just let the beads tell me how they want to come together. I have also recently started to do some chain mail earrings and hope to expand this technique in the future. Every piece I create is handcrafted by me in my Milwaukee WI studio. I have been creating jewelry for about five years. The first few years I practiced on making pieces for myself and my friends and family. As I improved my skills I began doing custom work for friends and co-workers. I began selling online a year ago when I opened my shop on Etsy. I added my ArtFire studio last month. I will continue to work to grow my online business, but I still do the majority of my business offline.
ArtFire shop Entwined Vines is owned and operated by Tina Biornstad-Safranzski and Tammy Meeske. Tina and Tammy love beads in all there splendor. They both started out stringing and re-stringing and have learned many other techniques to be able to say that they are skilled in Viking knit, wire braiding, chain maille, knitting, crocheting wire and adorning with beads, delicate wire work, interesting yet unique color and design challenges, and repair work of many forms. They are not metal smiths or stone workers (although they work with stones in a variety of ways). They love creating unique pieces of jewelry and are always adding new medians and styles to their shop.

Last week I made two new bracelets. Both are made in autumn and winter colors. The bracelets are made of large pearls, flowers and leaves. The big pearls, flowers and leaves are acrylic, otherwise the bracelet would be too heavy. I also used small pearls and beads made of glass. The brown/green bracelet was sold within 1 hour on Etsy, YES!
